Even in the rare event that our servers experience downtime, your screens will continue to display the content you’ve scheduled—for up to one full month. This means your patients will always see the information and visuals you’ve set up, without any interruptions. However, please keep in mind that Dentli TV is not a permanent storage service for your content. We recommend you keep backup copies of all your media and designs outside of Dentli TV, just to ensure you have them safely stored.

  • Media, which is content that you create or upload to Dentli TV, which then get displayed, like image files, video files, documents or web sites.
  • Playlists, which are a collection of media that gets displayed one after the other, with a duration that you specify (to create an image slideshow or video playlist)
  • Apps, which are drop-in, small integrations displaying useful info, like RSS feeds, Tickers, Rich Text, Analog/Digital Clocks etc.
  • Screen Layouts, which are a composition of playlists, media and apps, placed on a virtual monitor, e.g. a full-screen image slideshow with a video playing on one corner.
After you create your screen layouts or playlists, or upload your media files, you just assign default content to each of your monitors.

No need to worry! If your internet connection goes out, your Dentli TV screens will continue to operate just fine—for up to a full month. All the content displayed on your monitors is already downloaded and saved locally on the device. This means your patients will still see all the videos and information you’ve set up. However, during the outage, you won’t be able to make changes or update the content until the internet is back. Also, any content that requires live internet access, like live web pages or streaming videos (except standard YouTube videos, which are stored locally), won’t be available while offline.
